MSDN Roadshow Tiki Dates November / December 2009

Russ Fustino and Joe Healy will be visiting Tampa (11/30), Ft. Sharepoint Saturday – November 14

Sharepoint 2010 Developer Workshops

Paul Stubbs and Jim Blizzard are presenting Sharepoint 2010 Developer Workshops in Lauderdale (December 3rd) and Tampa (December 7th). After the seminar, you'll have some significant guidance on how to develop SharePoint 2010 applications using Visual Studio 2010. The training is targeted toward SharePoint 2007 professionals who are looking to better understand the differences, deltas, and new features of SharePoint 2010. Windows Phone Developer Day

Startup Tampa

Kathy Malone is heading up Startup Tampa, an event geared to startups and helping them bring their visions to reality.  On Saturday evening there will be introductions; success stories and lessons learned and an overview of the programs available to help you. Sunday we will brainstorm ideas, build-out a few of the ideas, and other business talks. Even if you only attend the first Saturday evening session, you will come away with a better idea both of the resources available to you, and of how to start choosing and building out your idea for “the Next Big Thing”. Alabama CodeCamp in Mobile, AL - 23-Jan-2009

Azure Developer Group in Miami Starts Up

Mark Neppl, Alex Funkhouser, and some of the Miami krewe are starting a dedicated Azure User Group in Miami. The first meeting will be January 21, with yours truly doing an Azure platform overview.

Speaker Idol Competition

The Florida Microsoft Community Speaker Idol Competition is a chance for you to compete with Microsoft developers across our state and a shot at winning great prizes such as MSDN Universal Edition, XBox, or a Zune .
